📸 Fall individual picture day for all students is Tuesday, September 15th. Students may wear their Sunday best. You can pay for pictures using the envelope sent home or online.

Our Calk-Wilson Elementary Spirit Squad had an amazing time participating in the W.B. Ray High School Homecoming Parade! 📣They loved cheering, smiling, and showing their Champion pride alongside our community. What a fun way to celebrate and support the W.B. Ray Texans! ♥️💙

🌟September is almost here! Take a look at all the exciting happenings coming up for our Calk-Wilson Champions. 📰✨

Today our 3rd grade students put their knowledge of Physical Properties of Matter to the test! Each group was given a mystery object that they kept a secret from one another. Students measured and recorded the mass, temperature, magnetism, and if their object would sink or float. Then, each group guessed the one another's mystery object, based on their investigation notes. ♥️💙🕵️

Our campus has officially achieved a B-RATING (first time ever for our campus) and, even more exciting, we earned ALL SIX DISTINCTIONS — 6 OUT OF 6 (first time ever for our campus)! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

♥️💙🎉We have worked hard toward this moment together, and seeing our campus finally achieve this goal makes it that much sweeter. TOGETHER we made this happen! We are so proud to be Calk-Wilson Champions!!!

Our 4th and 5th graders are settled into their new classrooms and already off to a great start this school year. ♥️💙

A HUGE thank you to the Texas YES Project, Thomas J. Henry, and to the many community partners who came together to provide free school supplies to our Kinder-5th grade students today. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated. ♥️💙📓✏️

It was a great first day of school! Our Champions were all smiles getting back into the swing of things. A huge thank you to our staff for all of the time, heart, and dedication they poured into making today such a special start for our students. Today was just the beginning of what is going to be an incredible year. ♥️💙

🏆Champions, the start of the 2026-2027 school year is almost here. We cannot wait to welcome everyone back on Tuesday, August 11th. 🍎Meet the Teacher-August 10th ⏰2:00-3:00 p.m 🚪Enter through the front of our school or on the staff parking lot side. 👕PTA will be selling spirit t-shirts in the front of our school. 😋Kona Ice will be on hand selling snow cones. 📓First Day of School-August 11th 🔔Doors open at 7:30 a.m. 🏆Champions should arrive by 7:45 a.m. 📝Instructional Day- 7:50 a.m-3:10 p.m. Students may enter our building through the front of the school, staff parking lot side or cafeteria loop. We strongly encourage PK and Kinder students to be dropped off at our cafeteria loop. Teachers will receive students in the cafeteria for the first few days of school to assist them with becoming familiar with entering our building and walking to their classroom. For safety reasons, please make sure students are supervised prior to our doors opening at 7:30 a.m. We will have plenty of staff on hand to ensure students arrive to their classrooms.
