Join us in celebrating Mrs. Victoria Smith. Today she was recognized as an MLB All Star Educator for the 2026 season. Representatives from Reliant Energy, the Corpus Christi Hooks were on hand to present her with a check for $1,500 and to celebrate her for the amazing educator that Mrs. Smith is. Currently, she serves as our Special Education Chairperson and she teaches PDI to our Dyslexic students. Check her out on the 6 pm news on KRIS6.

Wow what a field trip to the Corpus Christi International Airport! Our Mariners in Kindergarten are now experts on how to travel through the airport. They had a fantastic day thanks to all of the staff at CCIA who made sure our Mariners saw everything! We will definitely be back! This field trip was made possible thanks to the funds contributed by our Mariner community and raised by the Mireles PTA. Today Kindergarten had the best day on their field trip to Corpus Christi International Airport. They went behind the scenes and saw all the steps travelers take when they fly through the airport. On the tarmac, they watched planes and helicopters take off and land and learned about how community helpers keep travellers safe at the airport. Thank you to all of the staff at CCIA who made sure our Mariners had the best day! Part 1 of 2
